Angelniemen Ankkuri will arrange the FinnSpring 2014 orienteering competition on April 26-27, 2014. This will already be the second time Angelniemen Ankkuri arrange the biggest spring time orienteering event in Finland. The arena for the events is situated in the Hämeenkylä region south of Salo between Teijo and Perniö roads.

The orienteering terrain is used for such an event for the first time so there is no previous orienteering map of the area. The terrain will be challenging: there are physically tough parts and as well as demanding orienteering tasks. The competition centre is located in an area that is used for practice driving so the ground is hard and comfortable.

NEW: An Individual mass start competition on Sunday!

Ankkuri will arrange an individual race at FinnSpring-relay for those who cannot take part in the relay race. In the longer tracks butterfly loops are used, the shorter tracks are straight. There are six categories for mass starts:

• A: H20, H21, H35
• B: H18, H40, H45
• C: H16, H50, H55, D20, D21, D35
• D: H14, D16, D18, D40, D45, H60, H65
• E: D50/H70 and older
• F: H12, D12, D14
